While working with Audrey Matlock Architects in New York City, Mark was instrumental in developing the Chelsea Modern Condominiums project from the concept phase through the construction documentation phases.
Mark’s role, as a junior architect at this time, covered various tasks in the project from design visualization and preparation of presentation materials to design support, development, and documentation of overall floor plans, kitchen plans and design, and bathroom plans and design. Mark was also integral in the development of the facade design, which came to define the architectural character of the building and address the city by mitigating the building’s scale through five folded bands that create a dynamic experience for passersby.
