Mark Alan Blumberg is an Architect urbanist, and educator with practice experience in New York, and teaches at Auburn University in Alabama.

My experience, work, and research spans scales from the architectural object within the city and through regional influences on urban design, as well as on generative potentials of analytical drawings and the intersection of architecture and progress. I focus on work that engages contemporary modes of architectural intervention and realization and a continued passion for exploring urban inventions born out of upcoming and current programmatic, cultural, economic, and political issues.

I understand architecture as a culturally, contextually, and programmatically associative discipline.  I seek to collaborate with clients, consultants, artists, developers, business owners, and others who hold an interest in innovative and explorative design solutions. I enjoy rising to the challenges of complex problems and issues as much as we enjoy tackling the simple problems of everyday life.
